After the last meeting was held online, for the fifth time in a row, on 27 May 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Political Directors of the SEECP Participants held a meeting in the presence of representatives of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the European Union.
The focus of the meeting was the preparations for the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and SEECP Summit, which will be held in Skopje on 13 June 2024, and in this context, Political Directors worked on the draft text of the Summit Declaration, as the final act of the one-year Chairpersonship.
Candidates for the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) were also considered, according to the call that was opened by the Chairpersonship-in-Office, in order to select a new Secretary General of this regionally owned and oldest regional initiative.
